Free tickets to the Washington Nationals baseball game?
For a currently unemployed female suffering from cabin fever/cover letter overload and a slowly declining savings account, this was music to my ears! From the awesome seats, kids photobombing my selfies and a guest appearance by President Lincoln, Charles, Tarek and I had a blast last Friday night. Once again, I’m not a huge fan of baseball but I’m never one to turn down the chance to hang at some kind of sports stadium. They’re always the livest. That sense of hometown comraderie and the loud cheers after having ‘our’ team win while chomping on some yummy dutch chocolate ice cream… To be honest, I’m sure I enjoyed the ice cream a bit more than the game haha. Anyways … Back to these cover letters ….

  • Haha! I love the kids' photobombs!
I really wish I could get into baseball but I'll do pretty much anything if it's free. I'm a cheap date hehe :)

  • FREE did you say? I'm such a sucker for all things free and coupons ;)

Great photos, it look like you had a wonderful time, and a night out that was much deserved :) :)

  • Great photos! Baseball tickets are so hard to come by this close to playoffs so I'm sure that was very lucky of you to get tickets and for free! I love baseball, but don't mind the chow at the stadium too!

  • Yayy for free tickets!! I agree…there's something so fun and energetic about a baseball game. So glad you were able to go.

  • I'm not a huge fan of baseball either, but watching sports live is always so much better than on tv. glad you had a fun night out :)

  • I've never been to a baseball game but my brother tells me that they can be extremely long. However, if I received free tix, I would definitely be in there. I'm sure the food is pretty good as well. I love game food. LOL!
