Postcards From Philadelphia

Friends… Charles and I are so lucky to have such an ah-mazing and eclectic circle of friends. The sights & scenes we explore (that eventually end up on this blog) are all side agendas that revolve around initial plans made to hang out with our friends who live in the DMV or afar… Charles’s best friend recently got a position as an assistant coach for a collegiate basketball team and when we found out his team was playing a game in Philadelphia, we knew we had to drive up to see the game and show support. Bonus: My best friend, Noelle, lives 30 min. away from Philly and was able to meet up with us and hang as well!

There’s never a day that goes by where I don’t appreciate Charles for having so much patience with me as I’m ‘the planner’ in our relationship. All he had to say was, “We’re going to see Ant’s game in Philly,” and I was alllll over the internet researching places to visit in this historically rich city. When I think about it, our trip to Philadelphia was pretty darn crazy for everything we packed into 24 hours but I wouldn’t have had it happen any other way.
